Getting back to school can involve a long to-do list for parents. From tracking down school supplies and finishing up summer reading, to ordering uniforms and completing school paperwork – there is a lot to stay on top of in these last busy days of summer.
While these tasks are certainly important, there are some items that may not have made your list but will set your child up for success – even more than the right shoes, folders and car loop plans.
- Start preparing for the new schedule NOW by easing yourself and your child back into the routine. Before school begins, re-establish mealtimes and bedtimes. Start setting the alarm clocks. I hope that you are enjoying a wonderful summer! I’m writing to introduce myself and to invite you to share your stories as I come to learn the strengths and heritage of Holy Trinity. I am honored to have been chosen as Head of School and grateful to have already been so warmly welcomed.
Though July 1 marked my first official day, my introduction to Holy Trinity began in the spring with the marvelous celebration of Mrs. Ford’s quarter century of exceptional service – a great opportunity to meet many of you and see firsthand the depth of dedication to this school.
